Please support Rye Bonfire’s main fundraising event this evening by kind permission and support of Judith Blincow and the Mermaid Inn.

We can announce that non other than Rye artist (and Rye Bonfire Vice President) Prince Rostislav Romanov described as ‘A Russian Colourist’ has donated one of his works to the Rye Bonfire Auction of Promises!

Prince Romanov has exhibited in London, New York & Moscow where he is in great demand. The picture is oilpastel and sure to attract attention from far and wide! See Prince Rostislav talking about his history and art : Rosti

We have lots more fine items up for auction including the honour of lighting of the this year’s Bonfire, a flight from Lydd airport, overnight stay at a number of local B&Bs, meals at various establishments, short break holidays, a lovely scallop necklace, a carpet + fitting. Various fresh hampers and a surprise hamper and many more items – including cuddly toys!
