BELA OLAH’s RYE UNITED county league side are going through a difficult time. A dour struggle against top of the table RINGMER on 7th January, resulted in a goalless draw, thanks to some fine work by Rye Keeper STEVEN WILLIAMS, and raised hopes of a return to form by the side. Ann and Penny Boreham of Kings Avenue are a Table Tennis Duo who have struck terror into the ranks of the boys in the Community Centre Team.

Iden  The Cup Fighters.

With the end of the season in sight the clubs are jockeying for position in their respective leagues. For Rye and local clubs Cup prospects have disappeared.
Little Iden, riding high on the top of the Hastings League Division IV table, have carried the cup banner the longest, eventually being knocked out of the Lower Divisions Cup by Division III league leaders, Clive Vale.
